Buffet Crampon Bicentenary Offer

Buffet Crampon Bicentenary 1825 – 2025

Buffet Bicentenary Brands

In 1825, French instrument maker Denis Buffet-Auger opened up a workshop in the artisanal heart of Paris – Passage du Grand Cerf. He quickly became reputed for the development of a 13-key clarinet. His son Jean-Louis took over the business gradually after 1830, and around 1844 it took on the name Buffet Crampon and the logo from that time is still used today.

This year celebrates its bicentenary. 200 years of exceptional craftmanship. From a humble workshop making a new system of clarinet to a global manufacturer of clarinets, saxophones, oboes, bassoons and brass instruments under a variety of brands, its heritage spans centuries and continues to inspire artists the world over.

To celebrate Buffet Crampon’s 200th Anniversary, Howarth of London is offering £300 off new Buffet Crampon oboes, saxophones and pro clarinets as well as pro Powell flutes and Schreiber bassoons.

This offer is available in store and online using code BUFFET200.

Offer must end 20th July.
