For nearly 100 years the area of Palamos in Spain has been known for the quality of its cane, used for many purposes. The Medir company is a family business which has been in the region and using cane from Palamos and the greater area of Catalonia for many years.
Medir cane can be described as a medium strength, very straight cane with a moderately dark golden color and some marbling. The cane is hand selected and packaged into 250g bags. A very consistent cane, the tubes yield a high number of processed pieces per package.
