One of the leading student clarinets on the market the Buffet Prodige seeks to revolutionise the market. An excellent instrument for beginners to start their first steps with the clarinet which will see a student up to grade 4/5 standard.
Designed with tone, ergonomics and reliability in mind, the Prodige is a reliable and well-made student model.
Taking inspiration from the E13, a new poly-cylindrical bore design was developed for the Prodige. The new bore sees ease of playing as well as improvement in projection and intonation. A new textured bore in the bell optimizes projection of the sound.
Made from ABS resin, the Prodige is a lightweight and free-blowing instrument ideal for any age player starting out on the clarinet. The matte black finish of the instrument emulates the higher-level wooden model.
The moulding and drilling of the bore are now completed entirely in France and Germany, to ensure consistent results. These are essential to creating the perfect acoustics for the instrument and this is a first for this student model.
Buffet has been producing clarinets since 1825 and are well respected within the industry. Buffet clarinets are commonplace in orchestras and ensembles across the world.
This clarinet comes complete with a backpack style case with front accessories pocket. Inside it also has a pull through, cork grease, a sample reed, pencil, plastic mouthpiece and silver-plated ligature and cap.

Warranty
This instrument is covered by a two-year guarantee with Buffet Crampon against all manufacturing or material defects. A five-year guarantee extends to cracks and tenons.
This instrument comes with a 1 Year Warranty from Howarth of London and includes a free ‘Guarantee Checkover’ from our Repair Workshop before the warranty expires.
