About maker

Guntram Wolf is a manufacturer of modern and historical woodwind instruments in Kronach, Germany. In the mid-80’s, the company started to develop smaller and lighter instruments tailored to the needs of smaller children, achieving great success with the Fagottini. The company also developed along with Benedikt Eppelsheim the Contraforte, an interesting equivalent to the contrabassoon which allows greater control over intonation and dynamics. After Guntram himself passed away in 2013, his children Peter and Claudia Wolf took over the management of the company.
