Description
At
the top of Buffet’s range of clarinets is the Divine, this beautiful clarinet
has exceptional stability between registers and is free blowing thanks to Paul
Meyer’s new concept of acoustics.
This special edition model features rose gold plated keywork.
The
beautiful dark and mellow tone of the Divine is the result of fewer high
harmonics in its sound. The Divine has the same tone hole placement as the
Tosca, a model well respected for its excellent intonation, and so supporting
stable intonation throughout all registers.
The Divine was the first model to substitute the
metal rings for carbon fibre banding. This feature helps stabilise the wood and
avoid cracking, it has also helped to reduce the weight of the clarinet and has
enhanced its balance. Like the Legende, the Divine’s tone holes are made from
Greenline, another addition which strengthens the wooden body. A right-hand
vent key has been added to this model to aid intonation of low F natural.
The
Divine features synthetic cork joints; a material that returns to its original
shape after being used, meaning it lasts longer than the traditional natural
cork joints. The synthetic cork joints ensure the clarinet seals completely.
Buffet
has been producing clarinets since 1825 and are well respected within the
industry. Buffet clarinets are commonplace in orchestras and ensembles across
the world.
The
Buffet Divine A clarinet is supplied with a lockable double
high-tech design covered in black leather and an exclusive cover for the Divine
