Description
The first flute in the Quantz series is the Pearl PF-505 E Flute. The design of this versatile basic model enables beginning flute players to concentrate on the essentials of flute playing. In this way playing the flute is always great fun! The flutes in the 505-series are made from nickel silver, all of them are silver plated, giving the flute its shine and at the same time protecting the material from corrosion. Quantz flutes are provided with French pointed arms as well, both increasing the stability and enhancing the quality of the mechanism, a unique feature amongst student flutes.

The 505E is also available as the PFB505E-HC. This is the first model in the Quantz series. This model also features Pearl’s ‘Brezza’ headjoint (the newest addition to the Quantz series) which offers more refinement and fullness of sound in all registers of the flute. The HC model features a Heavy Crown which is designed to give greater control over the instrument and to help improve tone quality.
