Description
The Zappatini-Harness works by spreading the weight on both shoulders, but it has an additional ergonomic advantage that allows the instrument to be suspended from a higher point, so that it is less constrained for the player move than with a more traditional design of harness, where the ‘hooking on’ point is lower. (Sax version illustrated, bassoon version works in exactly the same way.)
