Description
Sandra Downing has been playing and teaching the Bassoon for 42 years. Her frustration with the confusing and often incorrect Bassoon fingering chart in primers and tutor books prompted her to create this clear, simple and practical fingering chart. It covers all the notes on the Bassoon to the highest E in bass clef, tenor clef and treble clef. All fingering diagrams have been derived from photographs of the Bassoon keys and holes, so that the diagrams look as natural as possible. There are no confusing “key numbers” and practical alternative fingerings are shown.
