The Meyer Bb Clarinet mouthpiece was made famous by JJ Babbitt Company in the USA since their takeover of Meyer Bros production. These mouthpieces are a favourite amongst Jazz, Commercial and Swing clarinettists. With a medium chamber and medium length facing the range extends from the close tip opening of 4MM up to the widest 9MM.
With a bright, focus and punchy sound these Meyer Clarinet mouthpieces are designed to cut through and offer a vibrant flexible sound.

- The closer tip openings give more control and require a harder reed set-up.
- The more open tips can give a wider sound with more projection but less focus and are harder to control in lower dynamics and with regards intonation.
