Gottsu have been making exceptional mouthpieces for many years and have developed the Sepia Tone range based on the effectiveness of their bamboo models.
Each piece is meticulously hand-crafted to give a flat table with an even facing curve and side rails all the way to the tip rail. The original Gottsu Sepia Tone was born from their newly introduced silicon hard rubber and with their own facing methods they have achieved an ease of tone production with an outstanding tone quality and a sound that is rich, sweet and charming. The VI version has slightly narrower tip and side rails to improve responsiveness, and a slightly larger chamber than the original Sepia Tone.
Gottsu’s original design methods allow one to play exquisitely from the first note making production of the lower notes easy and giving an overall pleasant feel throughout the range of the horn.
