The new GF System ligature has the quick fit, none slip properties of other fabric ligatures but the material is designed to allow the reed to vibrate freely with less dampening. This means that you will get a more harmonically rich, clearer and fuller sound with this ligature as opposed to the darker warmer sound of other fabric ligatures.
