Description
As Backun’s original barrel, the traditional, offers slightly more resistance and a big, focused sound. The barrel has a wooden body supported between two integrated wooden rings and brings unyielding response and even articulation to your clarinet.
Unlike a barrel with metal rings, the wooden rings do not constrain the wood and allow the entire piece to vibrate. The barrel works well in both solo and chamber music environments.
