The new YBS-62II benefits from various small design changes to the old model. All of these have been designed to make it even more comfortable to hold and to play, whilst building upon that amazing core tone that is found on older YBS-62 models. In addition to these changes, the 62II benefits from a different brass compound than the YBS-480 is made of. The YBS-62II features a newly designed key layout which has been introduced to create a more ergonomic feel for most hand shapes. The keys and mechanisms have been made slightly lighter in order to decrease the overall weight of the instrument, and create an even quicker response under the fingers.
