The 475II delivers professional qualities at an intermediate price. Much of its design is based upon the Custom EX saxes, and it shares many of the same features. This instrument is a perfect Soprano sax option for a student, as well as intermediates or professional players that want a doubling horn on a budget. As an instrument, it is a superbly reliable instrument, able to deal with everything that the modern Saxophonist can possibly throw at it! The fact it has proved so popular on the professional circuit is testimony to the fact that these saxes play extremely well, whilst having the reliability that Yamaha are famed for. The sax has very strong intonation/tuning as well as proving particularly free blowing when compared to the majority of other Soprano saxes.
